ANTEQUERA & TORCAL
We offer you to visit the town, which even the Romans called “the ancient one”. We will start the visit by the Dolmens of Menga and Viera, imposing meghalytic structures, whose origin goes back around 3000 years BC.
Afterwards we will continue to the upper part of the town with spectacular panoramic views. We will take a walk to see Alcazaba, Roman Baths, Arch of the Giants and Collegiate Santa María la Mayor. Around the square Plaza de Coso we will have free time to enjoy some typical dish of the local gastronomy.
After lunch we will go to TORCAL, one of the most spectacular Karst landscape in Europe, whose formation lasted several hundred million years. We will make one of the routes, the green one, lasting about 1 hour, to get closer to the spectacular rock formations and to admire the wildlife (for example vultures and ibex).
