We would like to invite you to make an experience of hospitality of Andalusian people. We will delve into the people of the white villages hanging in the mountains. We will taste their typical dishes, we will get to know their lifestyle, we will live their day-to-day.

We will take you to COLMENAR, about  60 km from Málaga, where we will start the day sharing the typical Andalusian breakfast: churros with hot chocolate (a kind of fritters). In ALFARNATE we will take a walk through the village with its narrow, winding and  pictoresque streets. We will visit a cooperative for olives and cereals, where we will learn, how to obtain artisanal olive oil (the base and essence of Mediterranean diet). We will also have the opportunity to taste it and buy some.

Afterwards we will move to ALFARNATEJO, small hamlet near Alfarnate. We will visit one of the old houses, preserved as it existed in the past centuries. They will offer us a small appetizer of the local products: sweet wine, salted almonds and dry figs. We can also taste different varieties of honey, such as avocado honey, eucalyptus honey, forest honey and orange blossom honey.

The highlight of the day is a lunch in the town‘s inhabitants‘ houses. We will share with them their typical dishes, their home-made sweets, their home-made liqueurs, the fruits from their orchards. We will share their day-to-day lives for one, very special day.
