One of the most spectacular landscapes of the Malaga Mountains, with steep walls, which in some points are only 10 m wide and reach 700 m deep. Caminito del Rey has its name by King Alfonso XIII, who inaugurated the walkway for maintenance of the hydroelectric power plant canal, built nearby, and the railway, only access to Malaga capital from inside Andalusia before building the AVE line (high-speed trains).

Arriving near the village of Ardales we will leave our car in a car park and start with our tour to reach the control booth, this will take us about 30 minutes. From there begins Caminito itself with a distance of 3 km approximately.

At the end, after some free time to eat something in one of the restaurants, since the route is linear we will take the shuttle, which will return us to the car park, where we left our vehicle.
